Rent-and-Return Event Box FAQ

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about our rent-and-return event boxes since we announced our launch - so we thought we would address some of the most common ones in a blog post! For any additional questions please fell free to send us a message at hello@vintagefindsmke.com.

 What is a Rent-and-Return box?

A Rent-and-Return box is the perfect solution for people that want to entertain at home, but don’t have the proper tableware to make it spectacular.  That’s where we come in!  Each box contains 4 place settings from the collection of your choice and include chargers, dinner and salad plates, silverware, napkins, table runner, wine and water goblets, candlesticks and votives.  There are also additional add-ons available to help you decorate to the nines!

Why should I rent from Vintage Finds instead of buying?

Renting is a great alternative for people who don’t entertain regularly, are planning a one-of-a-kind event, are downsizing, have limited home space, and like to mix up their decor often! Our event boxes allow you to plan the perfect event with minimal effort - how perfect is that?!

 How far in advance should I order my box?

We recommend placing your order 1-2 months in advance to make sure your preferred collection is available.  If you order less that 10 days prior to your event date, you may incur a rush charge.  If you have any special requests, please give us a call!

Your box will arrive 1-2 days prior to your event. Please open it right away to check that everything arrived safe and sound.  If for some reason an item is damaged or broken, give us a call and we will overnight a replacement to you free of charge.

 What do I do when my event is over?

When you’re done with your evening, just give everything a quick rinse, and replace the items in the plastic bags they arrived in.  Your black envelope contains a return shipping label and packing tape.  Pack everything back in the foam cut-outs the way it came, seal the box, put the new shipping label on and that’s it!  We will arrange for pick-up the next day excluding Sundays.
